The Solution

Large-scale information systems are extremely complex—if the foundation is wrong, everything built on top of it will fail. The way information connects, the clarity it provides, and the impact it has on society are all determined by the architecture beneath it.

Social media just isn’t built for the architecture we need. Social media is a stage—loud, performative, optimized for entertainment, advertising, and conflict. But self-governance requires something entirely different: a workshop. A thoughtful, structured, purpose-built environment where people can think clearly, work together, and make informed decisions—a completely different environment.

We have endless stages. We don’t have a single workshop. The government won’t build it. Monopolies won’t build it. We must build it ourselves.

For the past four years, we’ve been designing the blueprint for a communication system that supports a functioning democracy—not a performative one. A system that organizes issues clearly, presents the strongest arguments for issues at every level of our government, eliminates trolls and fake accounts, and enables every citizen to contribute in a meaningfully structured way. One with transparent polling, real accountability for elected officials, and a clear view of where our tax dollars go. A system that puts people—not algorithms—back at the center of the democratic process.

And we intend to build an AI model that analyzes government actions with the same rigor that today’s AI systems apply to public information. AI itself is widely misunderstood—at its core, every model is simply a system of probabilities. Our first post will focus on AI to help the public understand what it truly is, and why the real risk lies in how it’s used, not in the technology itself. Used well, it’s a powerful tool. Used poorly, it becomes a devastating one. See our Posts.

But systems like this must be built in the correct order. It must be done methodically with purpose.

The first stage is communication. If we can’t speak clearly, organize effectively, or understand one another, nothing meaningful can follow. Traditional chatrooms and social feeds were never designed for this purpose. This first layer is the cornerstone of everything that follows—it’s a new, far more effective way to communicate. Its impact will be transformative—an evolution that should have existed from the moment we entered the information age. It’s a structure so powerful it will help dismantle misinformation and help bring integrity and moral grounding back into our society.

Town halls and flyers just don’t cut it anymore, and social media was never built for serious civic dialogue. Either we adapt and build to govern, or we lose our voice in the systems that is already shaping our future.

We have the roadmap and the expertise to build what we need. (Learn more at Our Company.)
Funding is the last piece of the puzzle.

And here’s the truth most people don’t want to say out loud:

Whoever funds the system owns the system.
If we take money from big investors or tech monopolies, the platform will serve their interests, not the public’s. That’s how we ended up here in the first place.

YOUR PARTICIPATION MATTERS

The government won’t build it. Monopolies won’t build it. We must build it ourselves.

If we want a communication system that serves the public, it needs to be supported by the public. That’s the only way to keep it independent and aligned with democratic values instead of private interests.

To begin the first phase of development, we’ve created a simple line of stickers. They’re a straightforward way for people to signal that this system should exist—and to help us understand how many citizens are ready for it. Revenue from these stickers will move the communication system from concept to construction. And the more support we receive, the more we can build—and the faster we can build it.

If you believe in this mission—if you want to help us build a system that serves the public — you can support Square Right today.
